My company has been using RenEx for about 3 years. We are General Contractors based out of St Louis, MO. Some of the complaints on here are legit about having to go through a bunch of leads that are not quality, but I do have to say that we have had some very very good ones as well... some that have paid for our Marketing budget for the year in one sale. But there are a lot of ways you can change the demographic of where you are getting the leads from (specific areas/I.e. zip codes). Anyways we have really benefited from their services and putting this on here hopefully others can use this tool properly and get the same results.

SOLD MY 12-YEAR-OLD SON'S EMAIL & PHONE FOR $100 AS A "LEAD" ... contractor who bought it for $100 told me it happens 1/2 the time he buys leads from RENOVATION EXPERTS

On my son's first day of 7th Grade, he received at least a dozen phone calls responding to a request for a "Roofing Quote" complete with a 'Reference Number' .... One of the Contractor's whose call I personally answered, confirmed my son's first and last name, email address and clearly had his phone number ... then he told me he GOT THE FALSE LEAD FROM **RENOVATION EXPERTS / WEB.COM** FOR $100! ARE YOU KIDDING ME, RENOVATION EXPERTS IS SELLING MY SON'S INFO FOR $100 EACH, SO THEY MADE AT LEAST $1200 ON THE CALLS HE GOT TODAY ALONE! Haven't heard the last from me! Pissed Off Parent!

I agreed to enter a lead contract with renovation experts also known as web.com to pay 920$ for 15 To 20 leads per month. As the leads were bad i asked to cancel the agreement which is month to month.

a month passed by and today i see that they charged me again. after talking to a rep there i was told that they can not refund me even though i canceled.

a total rip off company be very careful....the leads are bad and they will keep charging you. Its un real how these companies stay in business praying on others, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and invested money with them and did not generate on job after a 2700$ or so investment

I used Renovation Experts.com to recommend a contractor to remodel my new home in Destin Florida. They recommended Quality Affordable Home Improvements and Remodeling from Repton, Alabama.

I hired and signed a contract with them. The total job was $14,900. They asked for $5,000 up front, then $6500 when they started the work. After it was half done they wanted another payment.

It was to be completed in 2-3 weeks. 5 weeks later, they wanted more money but barely did anything at all. When I refused they abandoned the job. I was out $11,500 and when I called several contractors to finish, they said all the work done was so bad and not code, it had to all be ripped out to start over again.

Turns out they were not licensed or insured in the State of Florida, ywt this company recommended them? When I called them to complain, they said they would "talk" to this company.

Do not use RENOVATION EXPERTS for a referrel and do not use QUALITY AFFORDALE HOME IMPROVEMENTS AND REMODELING!!! Liars and theives!

Thought I would get calls from contractors interested in doing my work. Instead, got 5 or 6 calls in rapid succession verifying that I wanted to get calls from contractors.

Highly disruptive to my business. I asked them not to call back again.

WE WERE AT OUR PLACE AT THE BEACH ON LIMITED TIME..NEEDED SOME REPAIR WORK DONE ASAP..THE AGENT PROMISED WORKER WOULD MEET US AT 8 a.m. SHARP..WELL HE NEVER SHOWED UP, NEVER CALLED..I CALLED TO COMPLAIN SEVERAL TIMES, NO ANSWER, TOLD TO LEAVE MESSAGE AND PHONE NUMBER..5 DAYS LATER...NOT A WORD !! I WOULD NEVER USE THIS UNRELIABLE SERVICE AGAIN !! I DO NOT KNOW WHO RUNS THIS LOUSY BUSINESS, BUT THEY NEED TO STOP MISLEADING CONSUMERS !! I spent over $500 with this "whatever" you call it and the only representative I got to tal with was the sales guy "Chad" who signed me up for a win win program who within a week was Jo longer available and my new go to person was Pamela who had a voicemail which indicated she was on vacation for two weeks and to leave her a message. Then when it became obvious that these people were *** artists I tried to cancel but never got money back. If you sign up for this after reading this review then you may as well donate to a worthy charity. These idiots still send me leads.

Sent me a scary guy, he lied & said he was bonded & insured. He was not either. Showed up the first time with zero tools? Ok one day wasted. Second day, he was late. Did a HORRIBLE job. I was so afraid of him, I let it go. My place is a mess because of him. He was a very angry man. Not cool. I am still upset. No receipt. He never returned my emails. The tile he replaced does not match. ZERO water pressure. My Kitchen sink leaks. He left my place a mess. He lied he lied he lied. I feel the company should screen. really? You put a single woman in a situation with a HUGE crazy man? You will have someone killed if you do not interview them. I could have posted on Craigs List with the same results. You just send anybody. What exactly IS your service?? You people are not OK. Plus you called me daily forever.

Sorry, when I make an "appointment" with someone, I expect them to keep it and show up! It's a bad reflexion. I won't be making a third. And now I see the complaints from others. Glad I did!

The first time I use this company it was a good experience. 6 months laterthe first 4 possible clients had no idea what was going on. They were saying "no i didnt request any work to be done" or " now no i told no one i needed my kitchen renovated". Im starting to feel like something fishy is going on.

The contractor, namely L & M Builders of Effort PA,, recommended by RenovationExperts took a $9,900 initial payment for a new garage and then did no work. After 2 years I finally got a plea bargained minimal criminal conviction with no jail time against the contractor, but not my money back. At least 5 other people were also scammed by him according to the Better Business Bureau. I would never again trust an online site to find a contractor. I'm sure RenovationExperts got a % of my $9,900, so they don't care. It took many phone calls to the police and district attorney's office to even get them to even look into this, but I finally someone to listen, to stop more people from getting fleeced.
